The AJC Food Critic says Brandi's epitomizes the Georgia dog. I had to look up epitomize because English is not my strong point. Definition of Epitomize transitive verb 1: to serve as the typical or ideal example of Georgia dogs on the whole are crappy meat with toppings that drown out the crappy meat. Look what people have hung their hats on for so long...the likes of the Varsity, Nu-way, Zesto. If you where looking for a dog that "EPITOMIZES a Georgia Dog" I think you found it but it certainly is not the best overall dog in Atlanta not even close.

I went into Brandi's for the first time a few weeks ago and they have the best hot dogs in existence. If you like it spicy and old school, this is the place to go. It's a little hole in the wall place just past some train tracks...but the folks are really nice, the price is right and the food is amazing. Just a warning though....save yourself the trouble and bring cash! I didn't know they were cash only when I went and ended up having to run to an ATM down the street. I highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed!
