Probably one of the most painful eating experiences I have had in a long time. I consider myself a pretty experienced traveller and adventurous eater. I have been all over Europe, the Carribean, and Latin America and I love sampling exotic foods everywhere I go. I have never been as sick from food as I was the night after I ate at The Grill. I spent the next 10 straight hours over my toilet in some form or fashion. Its not as though I have a weak stomach. I have eaten at fairly seedy looking places across the globe and only gotten food poisoning one other time. It fully took me three days to recover from this monstrosity of a restaurant and I can't wait until somebody famous gets sick there and it gets shut down. My dinner at the Grill started about the same as any other dinner at a "trendy townie place where we're all independent and don't care what other people think". It took me 5 minutes to get someone's attention to sit down even though there were only a handfull of other customers. It took me another 35 minutes to order for no apparent reason. My waiter was also kind of a bitch. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries with feta sauce. The cheeseburger was overcooked and dry even though i asked for medium. It was far beyond well. I made it about 4 bites into the mediocrity before finding a hair in it. After abandoning the burger, I turned to my fries. They were also slightly overcooked and too gummy, but still edible, until I found a bug in it. I did enjoy the feta sauce. The water with lemon was also edible. The food was nowhere near worth the 8 or so dollars it cost me. This place should be razed for the sake of public health. I would rather eat out of a Mexican dumpster. Great place to go if you need to shed about 5 lbs out both ends of your body. May God have mercy on their soul
