Special features include their Karaoke nights, Tuesday night Family Feud competitions, and Sunday night drag show that showcases the famous "Amorettes". A nice mix of old and young guest makes interaction a treat.

My son Adam took me there last weekend and I was quite nervous as to what to expect. He is a big fan of the shows but warned me it was a little adult in nature. Well I literally wet myself laughing. My stomach hurt from laughing so hard. The host Mary Edith was so funny I could not stop laughing. I loved how she made me feel welcomed and part of the family. Admittedly, I haven't had any experiences with gay bars and drag queens but I'm definitely coming back (and bringing Adam's grandma)! They made an old lady like me feel so welcomed.

Been going to Burks for the last couple of years on the weekends. The shows crack me up. Love Mary Edith and all her crazy stuff. They need to give her an HBO Special. Love how she makes everyone feel welcomed (I'm a lesbian) The drinks are great and the bartenders are friendly. I wish they would do something about the smoke. Havent had a chance to check out the food but I hear its your usual bar food.

Had a great time at Burkharts. The back patio is especially "entertaining".
